The Crane Pose (often called Crow) has powerful effects on the internal organs and spine. It brings lightness and pliability to the body and allows for a feeling of flying. We'll prepare for Bakasana and its variations through careful sequencing and investigate the metaphor of the crane as it appears in the meditative traditions of Zen, yoga, and Taoist practices. Students must be stable and healthy in the low back and shoulders.
**This class has been approved by American Council on Exercise (ACE) for 0.2 CECs.**
